Construction and civils agencies

The CRM for construction recruitment agencies

Search candidates by ticket and distance from the site, work a ranked morning call list, get Right to Work documents straight from candidates’ phones, and run weekly site plans you can invoice from. Built with a construction agency, used by one every day.

The problem

The Monday scramble is costing you placements

A site manager wants six labourers for Monday. It is Thursday.

You ring round from memory and a spreadsheet nobody has updated since June. By the time you find four, the other agency has filled it.

Tickets and cards on a sheet nobody maintains

A CSCS card lapsed six weeks ago and the candidate is still on site. Right to Work penalties are up to £60,000 per worker and the paperwork is in someone’s WhatsApp.

Site plans, timesheets and invoices in three different files

Friday afternoon is spent copying names between spreadsheets so the invoices go out. One typo and the client disputes the whole week.

How MatrixRec handles it

Built with a construction agency, not adapted from a perm CRM

Candidate search

Every CSCS labourer within twenty miles of the site, available Monday, in one search

Filter by trade, tickets and cards, availability and radius from the site postcode. See who is placed now, who has worked for you before and who has never been out. Text the shortlist in one go.

  • Ticket and card filters, pinned per consultant
  • Radius search from any UK postcode
  • Placed-now, previously-placed and returning badges
  • Bulk SMS to the shortlist with opt-out handling
Right to Work and cards

Candidates photograph their passport, share code and CSCS card from their phone

Send a secure link. The candidate uploads what you need with expiry dates. It lands in your review queue, you approve or reject with a note, and the Right to Work report tells you who is verified, expiring, expired or missing.

  • Passport or BRP, visa share code, CSCS card, other documents
  • Expiring and expired documents flagged before they bite
  • One report for an audit or a client site check
Weekly site plans

Who is on which site this week, approved and exported for invoicing

Each temp placement lands on the weekly plan for that client and site. Approve the week and export a sales invoice sheet to Excel. Placements that end drop off the plan on their own.

  • One plan per client and site, one view for the agency
  • Approve and unapprove weeks
  • Excel export for payroll and invoicing

Cheaper than one lost placement a month

Starter is £49 a month for up to 3 consultants. Growth is £149 for up to 10. Priced per agency, not per seat, with a 14-day free trial.

Questions

Construction agencies ask us

Does it handle labour hire and temp as well as permanent placements?

It was built for labour hire first. Placements have start and end dates and land on a weekly site plan per client. Permanent placements are recorded the same way, without the weekly plan.

Can I track CSCS card expiry?

Yes. The candidate uploads a photo of the card with its expiry date, or you add it for them. Cards that are expiring or expired are flagged on the candidate, in the review queue and in the Right to Work report.

Can candidates apply from my own website?

Yes. Your agency gets a public jobs board with a page per job. Link to it from your website or put the individual job link in a text. Applications land on the job in MatrixRec and the candidate is created for you.

We have 2,000 candidates in a spreadsheet. Can you get them in?

Upload a CSV, map the columns, done. Duplicate mobiles are caught on import. If it is messier than that, the Enterprise plan includes hands-on migration.
